Most of the results are pretty boring. At some point in the near past I
searched to find out how to import an Excel worksheet into a Word document.
And how to open a flash drive on an iMac. Later I needed to know how much
chicken to buy to make four cups for a recipe. The day the deadbolt lock on
the front door was hard to open I searched to find out its parts.
Others searches have me scratching my head. Why was I wanting to know about the rules of Fight Club? I think I was having a conversation with Hubby Tony when I Googled John Madden Wikipedia, but I'm not exactly sure. Who is Loretta Foly, and what did I want to know about her? Is Nash a person, place, or thing? And just what is a pizzani?
I guess the answer isn't important to anyone but me.
I love googling
ReplyDeleteMe too :-)

There are lots more.
I hope to be as memorable as these people some day.
DeleteMore questions: How do you make cups out of chicken? Are the cups edible? Do they taste like chicken?
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
When I figure it out I'll let you know.
DeleteMade me laugh. I have searched things that I can't even believe I searched. And yes, I do have fun with those great grandsons. When learning is fun, little guys learn. Thanks for your visits.
ReplyDeleteMy wife and I search while watching a show. How old is the actor? Was that part really based on a true story? Recently a show was depicting high school graduates and one guy looked way to old. A Google search revealed he was 29! We were right! I have questioned Google while watching Chernobyl and the info just adds to the story.
ReplyDeleteI've done that myself. (I think that might be where the John Madden one came from.)
DeleteI think that all of the search suggestions aren't necessarily yours. It usually includes "popular" searches that others have made, especially if you haven't done many searches that begin with a particular letter or word.
ReplyDeleteI have a niece who lives in your general vicinity. I keep thinking I should steer her to your blog for ideas for things to see/do in the area! You have certainly found some interesting ones.
Joeks, thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. I hadn't considered that someone else's questions would be contributing to the information that pops up.
DeleteI'm looking forward to potentially hearing from your niece.
(O)
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should ask Google why you get these strange search suggestions.
ReplyDeleteThat would certainly be meta!
DeleteOh Kathy I love a good Google list!...facinating thoughts. x
