No Snickering Allowed

When Hubby Tony and I brought home our paintings from our paint and sip adventure on Friday night I wasn't going to let them see the Internet light of day.  After I read your encouraging comments I started rethinking my decision.  So....

Here's my canvas
Tony passed on sharing his.

  1. I love it! Snowy owls are great. When Himself was in AK, one landed on the ship and hung out for several hours.

    1. I've never seen a snowy owl except at the zoo, but they look like fascinating creatures.

  2. I like it. I wondered why you didn't post a photo of either the class or the painting. I have a friend in Texas who does this on almost a weekly basis and always posts lots of pics from the class as well as her own work. It's fun to see others' work. Glad you shared.

    1. The original had a multitude of flaws (that I didn't want to share), but the photo minimizes them and almost makes the painting look good!

  3. I like it. I saw my first snowy owl only recently. And phooey on Tony. He's missing half the fun.

    1. Tony said that if he ever did something like this again he'd think about sharing :-)

    1. Thanks. Would you believe I kept thinking to myself that if Betsy did this it would look a lot better?

  7. It's cute. Made me smile. The owl looks more like a tiny Abominable Snowman, but please don't be offended because it's way better than I could have done.

    1. Actually, from a distance it kind of does. Thanks for pointing that out.

  8. Well, there you go! To me it looks like a 'naive' painting, something which artists struggle for years and years to achieve! And you've managed it in an evening. Seems pretty good to me!
