Halloween Miscellaneous

In case you can't read the sign in the 'graveyard', it says Rest In Pieces. There were bones scattered around the area.

So many inflatables in one yard! I wonder if any grass is visible during the daytime when they're all deflated.

The concept of Pumpkin Spiced Pumpkin Seeds is pretty meta. I got the bag from someone in my local Buy Nothing group. The seeds ended up being really good, and I went back to Trader Joe's for more. They were sold out.

One little Halloween lion ready for Trick or Treat.

  1. Someone should cut some eye holes in that orange disk so the kid can see where he's going! 😜

  2. Someone in my daughter's neighborhood has a lawn covered with inflatables, too! One of them is Frankenstein sitting on a toilet. It makes noise too! I won't say what but you can figure it out!

  3. Being a person who doesn't decorate much (laziness), I still love to see other people's efforts during the holidays! There are great especially the sign rest in pieces and bones scattered... so much fun.. thanks for sharing it. I don't see many decorations in the condos in Florida.

    1. Are many of your condo mates retirees or snowbirds? In my experience many people don't decorate for holidays if there aren't kids around.

  4. I like the first picture, made me laugh, the second picture is just too much. Sometimes less is so much better.

    1. I enjoy inflatables, but I agree there can be too much of a good thing.

  5. The Seeds do sound good. Love the Displays...we drove around looking at some. We had more Trick Or Treaters tonight than we ever had before so it was fun. We put a Fire pit out front and sat around it...the weather was great... Happy Halloween 🎃... Dawn the Bohemian

    1. I've driven around looking at Christmas decorations, but never thought to do it for Halloween. Will have to remember for next year. In this area very few Halloweens are warm enough to sit outside.

  7. Can you imagine how much money was spent to buy all those inflatables? I wouldn't buy them but they are fun to look at. One neighbor had an inflatable dragon and I really liked it. It was of good quality and looked real...granted I've not ever seen a dragon in person but what I would think it looked like. It wasn't cartoony...very realistic.

    1. I thought about the cost also, unless the homeowner worked somewhere that could provide a good discount there was a lot of money spent there.
