Every day for a year, starting on my 49th birthday, I did something I've never done before.
Now that I've completed that project, here's more of my adventures.

Happy New Year To You!
We had some great pizza for dinner, rang in the new year with sparkling apple juice and a replay of the fireworks and ball drop in Dubai, then started getting ready for bed. By the time 2023 officially kicks in I will be long abed.
Lots of fireworks at midnight. Talked to my sister in the city. She was hoping all she was hearing was just fireworks. Talked to my daughter in Crestwood. They were to busy cleaning up dog diarrhea to pay attention to any noise outside.
Happy New Year! I set my alarm for 11:55, rang in the new year and then had a hard time falling back asleep! Go figure! It was pretty quiet around here for a change!

ReplyDeleteAfter pizza, I tried to stay awake. Dozed off at 11:45 and was startled awake by fireworks a block over. Hapy New Year.

ReplyDeleteI know people used to go outside and shoot their guns at midnight just because....always thought that was stupid.
