The company offers a nice wellness incentive program. If you complete an online health assessment, they add some money to a debit card that you can use to pay for qualified medical expenses (like doctor visit co-pays, lab fees, and prescriptions). Complete some 'online health coach' goals and they'll throw some more money on the card. All in all you can earn as much as $170 a year.
But now, giving them proof of my Covid
vaccine will add another $50 to my card. All I had to do was complete an online form telling them which vaccine I received and when, then upload photos of the front and back of my card. The easy project took less than five minutes.

Bang!
Very cool!
ReplyDeleteUnited Healthcare wants to come to my house and do a check up on me. No thanks, that's what my doctor is for. And besides that, I don't trust their motives.
ReplyDeleteYes, that's a little creepy.
DeleteBeautiful blog
ReplyDeleteNow that's incentive. The insurance company my brother had for awhile through his wife, before she lost her job when the pandemic started, gave them incentives like that. If they wore fitbits and got in so many steps a day on average they got a discount, for one.
ReplyDeleteYoungest Son had even more incentives than we do, including the Fitbit one.
DeleteNow money, that's a nice incentive. My son's company let him pick from a few items, he ended up with a water bottle with the company logo on it.
ReplyDeleteI dunno...if he uses the water bottle in the office and his boss sees it maybe he'll get some brownie points.
DeleteExcellent. One way or another, we'll get a herd innoculated.
ReplyDeleteOne way or another....
DeleteLucky you. All I got was a sore arm for two days. Incentives work.
ReplyDeleteI find it interesting that I got the incentive offering long after I got the shot(s).
DeleteInteresting. Some companies here also offer incentives.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Wow! That's a great idea and a great incentive. Yay!
