Civic Duty Completed

Today was our state's primary election day. With my mail in ballot they included a sticker I could use to show I had done my duty. I wore it with pride.

  1. We didn't get those but I wish we had, I would have worn it with pride too.

    1. I have no idea how long my area has been giving out the "vote from home" stickers, but I like it.

  2. Good for you! I don't quite understand your political system, but I'm not alone!

    1. I think some US citizens don't understand it either :-)

  3. Stickers! Adults are just like the small children at Columbia, always seeking a sticker!. Even when I voted at the polls, I never took the sticker, and since voting by mail for decades, none are offered. That's okay with me. Terry, on the other hand, gets his sticker, brings it home, and keeps it on his nightstand for a week or more.

    1. None of the people I saw commented on my sticker, but I enjoyed wearing it.

  4. Oh, just thought of a sticker I would wear, if they sent out stickers BEFORE the election that said, in very big letters, VOTE, then I would wear one of those. I just ordered a mask that says VOTE.

    1. Will you start wearing your mask now, or keep it until closer to the November election?

    2. If it's like two other masks I ordered online, it won't be here until the end of September, early October. I mentioned to Terry that I ordered it and he wondered aloud if it would be here before the election, otherwise I could take a marker and add ED to the word VOTE.
