John Wayne's Five Rules to Remember in Life

I've tried and tried, but cannot find the source of these. If you know, pass the information on so I can give the correct credit.
1. Money cannot buy happiness but its more comfortable to cry in a Mercedes than on a bicycle.

2. Forgive your enemy but remember the bastard's name.

3. Help someone when they are in trouble, and they will remember you when they're in trouble again.

4. Many people are alive only because it's illegal to shoot them.

5. Alcohol does not solve any problems, but then again, neither does milk.

  1. Love them all. The second one is more true than funny for me, I'm often accused of being unable to "forgive and forget". Actually, I can forgive, I just don't know how to forget.

#3 - Hubs auntie always said you should always loan a loser $20. When he comes back for more it is easy to turn him away by telling him, "Not until you pay back your last loan..."
    #4 - Oh so right!
#5 - My name is Teri and I am a milkaholic... which is why I haven't shot anyone yet...
