The package came today:
So, now that I had the bottle of oil I had to figure out what to do with it. I turned to the the Better Essentials website, which told me that in addition to smelling good, lemongrass oil has a bunch of therapeutic properties. It is an analgesic, has antibacterial, antidepressant, antifungal, antimicrobial, antiseptic, astringent, and deodorant properties, and is an insect repellent. Sounds like a miracle product. I'm really looking forward to using it.

ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for you! I can't wait to see what you do with it.
ReplyDeleteAs Angela said, will be interesting to see what you do with it.
ReplyDeleteLemongrass has long been one of my favourites. I will tell you one thing I love to do with it, and then I will tell you why.
ReplyDeleteWhen you shower, turn the hot water on and let it get hot, then drop in a few drops. The scent will rise up while you shower.
There is a hotel in Sydney which uses lemongrass shampoo, conditioner and body wash. When you get up and have your shower, the room smells amazing, and because everyone is showering in the morning there, when you go out into the hall, it is like a lemongrass scent party. Utter awesomeness. :)
That sounds like a great idea...and one I wouldn't have thought of.
DeleteWow, you won! Winning something mysterious is fun. Let us know what you figure out about how to use it.
