I try to stay away from potato chips, but today when Hubby Tony, Son Donald, and Son Tony went to the grocery store they brought home several bags of produce and healthy food....and a bag of Lay's Wasabi Ginger chips, one of the four finalists for the 2014 "Do Us a Flavor" promotion. (The others are Cappuccino, Mango Salsa, and Cheddar Bacon Mac & Cheese)
The chips were good, but I thought the wasabi was a little too mild. When Tony left for the evening to visit with some friends I asked him to take the rest of the bag with him. I didn't want to be tempted to eat more.
They all sound good to me except the cappuccino. I can't seem to get my brain wrapped around that one on a chip.. haha.ReplyDelete
Everyone I've talked to who tried cappuccino has NOT liked it.Delete
Chips are dangerous but these new flavours are tempting!ReplyDelete
Chips are VERY dangerous for me!Delete
I try to stay away from chips too. I make an absolute pig of myself anytime I eat them.ReplyDelete
I bought a bag of the cappuccino ones last week. They're OK, not at all as good as I'd hoped they'd be. I'm glad I tried them, but I doubt I'll be buying them again.
I wanna try the Cheddar Bacon Mac & Cheese chips.
It sounds like you're a real chip connoisseurDelete
I will usually try to stock new flavors in my campstore from time to time, but, as a general rule I steer away from really bizarre stuff, in case it doesn't sell and I feel compelled to eat it .... Cappuccino would be that one!ReplyDelete
I can see how you wouldn't want any unsold merchandise to go to waste :-)Delete
I'm a sucker for new products, so first I tried the Mango Salsa and it was so nasty that I tossed the whole bag in the trash. I like the Cappuccino. It's especially tasty dipped in guacamole, washed down with a cup of Starbucks Coffee. I don't eat cheese, so not interested in the bacon mac, but next I'd like to try the wasabi.ReplyDelete
Everyone I've talked to who's tried the Mango Salsa agrees with you, but from what I've heard you're in the minority with the Cappuccino. However, maybe the addition of the extra tastes makes the difference.Delete
