Barometer
This morning I was going to take a walk in the neighborhood. However, I didn't realize it was raining; when I stepped outside there was a light mist coming down, which was enough to make me change my plans.
In retrospect, though, all I would have had to do is look at my hair in the mirror. It's always a good barometer of the humidity in the air:

DeleteFor some reason, I picked today to do my hair. The day when it is so foggy, humid, and misty.
ReplyDeleteI finally got to look in the mirror again after the lunch break and it was truly atrocious - had to go the rest of the day feeling like I looked crazy.
We are expecting rain but not humidity at this time of year!
ReplyDeleteKathy is your hair naturally curly? Mine is and some days I have the same hair issues, all it takes though is to run a bit of water through my hair and just like that, the curls are back!
