Every day for a year, starting on my 49th birthday, I did something I've never done before.
Now that I've completed that project, here's more of my adventures.

PLEASE?!?
Thursday's weather--60° and sunny. Friday--67°with a few clouds. Today--71° and sunny.
Tomorrow--temperatures dropping into the 30s with a wintry mix in the morning turning to all snow in the afternoon. Total snow/sleet accumulation up to 3".
Sounds about like where I live! A popular saying here is, "Don't like the weather? Wait 5 minutes, because it'll change!" It's not really that bad, but it can definitely change from one day to the next and be drastically different.
Keeping my fingers crossed you don't get more snow.
I know you are so tired of the cold and the snow. If this storm comes through, I sure hope it's your last for the year. I cannot imagine what you all have gone through this past winter.

As I'm typing this it's 9:40 AM and nothing on the ground yet. I'm crossing fingers AND toes!
DeleteWe feel like that around here too!
ReplyDeleteSpring WILL come...right?
DeleteMy grandson came down for church in a light jacket. "It's fifteen degrees," I told him. Long, long pause. "I don't care!" And we left.
ReplyDeleteHA! I used to think like that, too. Oh, to be young and foolish again.

ReplyDeleteI hope it's the last one, too! We've gotten less snow than some areas (like Chicago), but it's been the whitest winter in quite a few years.
DeleteIt's very grey and windy here...brrrr! No snow yet, but it sure looks like snow weather! Those few warms days really teased us!
ReplyDeleteYes, they did.
DeleteHowever, I just noticed today that the daffodils are starting to poke up out of the ground. They don't care if it's snowing or not!
