I'm Afraid It's Going To Be A Long Winter

Snow on deck

Yesterday we got a couple of inches of fluffy snow, which is pretty unusual for November in this area. A "normal" high temperature here for this time of year is about 55°. Today if we're lucky it might hit the mid-20s, but a brisk breeze will make it feel colder. The record low is 14°. We might break that tonight.

I'M NOT READY!!!!!

    1. We were lucky this time; the snow didn't stick to the roads.

  2. The first thing I did this morning was peek out the bedroom window and saw our patio furniture...it looks a lot like yours!

  3. Aren't' you glad you don't have to drive in bad weather to get to that job in the mall? We have been having fog in the mornings since the last bit of rain last week, but I don't have to be out early in the dark to make my way to school, for which I am most thankful.

    1. Traditionally we get our first really cold weather a month from now. I had outdoor things that didn't get done :-)

    2. Understandable.

We live in a snowbelt so it's right after August. Lawn chairs and snowblowers.
