Gung-ho About Galoshes

Saturday night Hubby Tony and I got together with some friends for a "Guys and Dolls" night; the men meet at one house to play poker, and the ladies gather at another house for companionship, dinner, and a movie on the TV.

I was the first to arrive at the Doll house, and had a chance to chat with Sally, the hostess.  She mentioned she had a new job as an Independent Sales Consultant for Grub's boots. When she showed me the section of her basement devoted to her products I could tell she was excited. Before I knew it she'd talked me into taking home an awesome pair of fuchsia-colored waterproof rubber boots.

(In case you're interested, here's Sally talking about them):

    1. I usually pick practical boots (my old boots are dark brown), but this time the bright color spoke to me.

    1. Wearing my new boots will ALMOST make winter weather acceptable!

  3. Oh wow! They do look awesome. I'm afraid I don't need them here in Hawaii, but they'd come in handy in Chicago.

    1. Do you have a pair of galoshes for the Hawaii rains, or is that not necessary?

  4. Those look like great boots for snow, rain, and ice. If I lived in such a place that has all three I would definitely want a variety of colors to help spark each day. In this land of drought, I have not gotten my boots out once this year. I have two pair, one for running errands in super rainy weather and one for more dressy events when it rains. Both pairs are black.

    1. dk, I'm surprised you don't have any purple boots. Isn't that your favorite color?

    2. I've never seen any boots in purple, or if I have, they were probably far more costly than I would be willing to pay. I have trouble finding boots that fit my fat feet.
