Almost Finished, And Thrilled About It

In the past week I've had a trifecta of computer projects to get through. I was quarterbacking the production of a flyer for an event that will take place early next year, finishing up the minutes of a fellowship meeting, and producing the September newsletter for the same group.

None of the projects was difficult, but all were time consuming and required playing nicely online with people who had different opinions. I was thrilled this afternoon to send the flyer and minutes out for review, and my fingers are crossed that no major mistakes are found. The newsletter is waiting for one more fact to be checked before it's also sent through cyberspace.

In addition to my writing responsibilities, this week there was also a lot of normal to-dos and social obligations. In short, it's been a very busy week. I'm already looking forward to next week when there are only two things on the calendar.

  1. Kay of Musings: You are so good to do all this work. This kind of reminds me of getting blog posts ready to publish and showing it to my husband to catch any errors I might have.

I’m wishing you a quieter week coming up so you can get some rest.

    1. It's always good to have someone else look something written over. I don't always do that with blog posts, and later am surprised at how many errors there are.

  2. That sounds exhausting. A quiet week sounds delightful for a change.

  3. A lot of social activities always make me look forward to weeks when I have nothing on the calendar. It does sound as though you were exceptionally busy. I don’t know if you saw my response to your comment on my blog about the chili rellenos casserole, but I would imagine it makes 2 to 3 servings, depending upon the size of the servings and whether or not you have any side dishes. I didn’t, so I got 2 1/2 servings out of mine. But then I sort of pigged out on it because it was so good!

    1. I did see your comment about the casserole, and have it in mind the next time I need a tasty meal.

  5. Yeah, I wondered if you were back in California visiting the kids. It does sound like fun work even if it is time consuming. I always feel so good after a project like that!
