Ragged Is The Rage

For the past few years distressed clothes (like this skirt with a frayed hem that I saw last week when I walked at the mall) have been in fashion.

I could care less about fashion, but yesterday I put on an old pair of well-loved shorts and realized some people would pay good money for my raggedy hems and little holes 😀.

  1. I just don't get it why the ragged look is so fashionable. I think it looks terrible.

    1. I agree, but for taking a walk in hot, humid weather something ratty works for me.

  3. I like the ragged look - as a teen we wore ragged Jean cut off’s but it would look foolish on me now.

    1. I see quite a few middle-aged women wearing the fashion. Some of them rock the look; others should have left it on the rack.

  5. Yes, I have many very fashionable raggedy-legged pants. I just wear them and go out. Our granddaughter wears jeans with rips and tears all of the time.

  6. just went back and read others' replies. It appears your friends would not want to include me when I'm wearing my frayed and raggedy outfits.

  7. I have a 13-year-old girl that would buy them especially if they were jean shorts.

  8. Those kinds of jeans were all the rage several years ago.

  9. I am not fond of this new fad but I would have LOVED them as a kid in the 70s.

  10. BTW, I have a saying - If you wore it the first time you are too old to wear it the 2nd time it comes around.
