Holy Batstamps!

I buy far fewer postage stamps than I used to, but last week I needed to go to the post office and stock up. I like to get commemorative stamps, and enjoy the process of picking out just the right ones. This time there were quite a few choices available, but when I saw the Batman stamps my decision was easy. The sheet of 20 stamps had eight different designs, and the clerk pointed out that some of them were very unique.

Tonight I used the stamps for the first time when I mailed a birthday card. To make it extra fun, I used one of the four Bat-Signal stamps:

  1. Oooh, I love these. Guess I'll have to make a trip to the post office. I usually buy my stamps at the grocery store or drug store and they have just the generic variety.

    1. I'd much rather make the effort to go to the post office than stick a flag or generic flower on an envelope :-)

  3. Oh what fun! I've never seen that one before. The International stamps are round now too. I like the idea of round stamps. :-)

  5. Holy Batstamps is right. I got so excited when I saw these that I stopped reading, popped right over to USPS, ordered two sets of 20, then came back to finish reading. Best of all, the stamps are forevers.

    1. I don't know how many stamps you use, but 40 would be enough to last us until the next must-have stamp was released :-)
