Every day for a year, starting on my 49th birthday, I did something I've never done before.
Now that I've completed that project, here's more of my adventures.

Quite Pleasant!
On last night's news the meteorologist described the wonderful temperatures of
the past few days as "resort weather". The highs and lows have been about ten
degrees below average, which means our windows are open to enjoy the mild
temperatures, low humidity, bright sun, and gentle breeze.
This morning I was taking a walk and this song came to mind. I hadn't thought
about it for years, but it's mellow tone seemed to fit perfectly.
Long may it last indeed! It looks like the forecast says there will be a couple of days where the afternoon will get a little too hot for my taste but all of the evenings will be lovely.
a great and very peaceful song. Isn't it amazing how our spirits are lifted with the slightest change of the cooler temps. Thanks for sharing the song..
Pleasant weather is good for the power bill. Our mild summer has meant lower PG&E bills, like $100 or more lower. Until now...the last two weeks have been 100(F) degrees or higher.
yes it has cooled down
ReplyDeleteIt's cooled down here in the south too and I so enjoy this over summer heat and humidity! Enjoy the sunshine on your shoulder that make us happy.🎵
ReplyDeleteTwo stores here this week put the heat on. I LOVE IT. Perfect Autumnal Yaycation DAYZZZZZ. Bring on the fall. Bring on the fun.
ReplyDeleteI am NOT ready for heat! I need a couple of months of open-windowed weather first.
DeleteI was a huge John Denver fan back in the day. He died much too young. Listening to this song took me back to when I was young -- thanks!
ReplyDeleteHe did die much too young.
DeleteNice. Still too hot here.
ReplyDelete"Take me home country road" is my best song of John Denver's album. Thanks for reminding me of his lovely songs my friend
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome.
DeleteHow lovely that the temperature has dropped and life is more bearable now. Long may it last!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite times of the year are spring and fall.

ReplyDeleteLower utility bills are a nice side effect.
DeleteIt's 31/88 today in northwestern Canada. The average temp for last August? 21/70. Yikes.
ReplyDeleteYikes indeed!
