The venue looks like a very nice place."The next day I had a response from the sender thanking me, and apologizing for the mistake. I never heard from her again, so she obviously took care of the issue.
My story had a happy ending. Here's a silly example of one that doesn't:

ReplyDeleteThat video is cute. I've been getting some odd emails lately about a property someone is interested in purchasing in another country and have advised the sender that I'm the wrong person. Haven't heard back from them. It was nice that your sender acknowledged the mistake.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm....it seems to me that if you've let them know the messages are being mis-directed you've done your part. I'd send the rest straight to the trash.
DeleteLove the video! I've never got an wayward email but have gotten misdialed phone calls plenty of times. I've even had a few confirming other people's doctor appointments or following up on test results. I always call them back, just as you replied to your email, to let them know that their message hadn't reached the intended party.

DeleteI've done that with a call, put in the wrong area code, and then the correct next seven numbers, got a stranger, but ended up having a nice chat.
