Body Ideals Through The Ages
Have you seen this video that shows how beauty standards for women have changed over time?
What do you think? Based on these standards, is there a time period you wish you'd lived in?
Interesting! I've never had the ideal body type. I work with some very attractive girls, which can be awkward when everyone goes out their way to compliment them and there's no one to tell me I'm pretty. lol
Not any that I've actually lived in!
ReplyDeleteMe neither, but I think I'd fit nicely in the Renaissance or Victorian England :-)
DeleteOH, that was fun...wow, both extremes represented there!
ReplyDeleteYes, every shape was there, wasn't it?
Deletenice video...I better not say
ReplyDelete:-(
DeleteA video that actually shows you can be beautiful in all shapes. Really.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it refreshing?

ReplyDeleteI think you're selling yourself short. Pretty is as pretty does.
DeleteWell, I've always liked the Victorian era. Now there's one more good reason to do so!! It's either that or the Italian Renaissance for me.
ReplyDeleteJay, I'm completely with you on both!
