Have you had a stressful day? Try this website.

Clicking the Relax button in the middle of the screen leads to rippling water and soothing music. Subsequent mouse motions provide additional water movement. The whole experience is serene and restful.
In my opinion, the site is best viewed sitting in a comfortable chair with a beverage of your choice next to you. (And a cat or dog to cuddle up with makes it even better.)
Five years ago: At Long Last

I heard nothing, which made me laugh. I hit the button, a bigger button came up and I hit that and nada. Speakers are on. So that didn't relax me. LOL
ReplyDeleteYikes! It worked on both my Windows laptop and my Apple desktop. If I get other comments that talk about issues I will delete the post.
DeleteSince I make it a habit not to click on everything, I have no idea if this link would work on my PC or whether this is not a link to relaxation.
ReplyDeleteBeatrice, good for you for setting your standards high. I tend to be okay with anything I see on a blog or website that I've trusted in the past.
DeleteI have to try this on my laptop am on my phone right now thanks-Christine cmlk79.blogspit.com
ReplyDeleteAlso nothing.
ReplyDeleteIt worked fine for me -- image, special effects, sound, everything. And yes, SO serene and relaxing to swirl the water around using my mouse!
ReplyDeleteawesome
ReplyDeleteoh I just tried it and did not work for me
DeleteNow that's addictive!
ReplyDeleteNice sounds.
ReplyDeleteI tried Firefox and Safari. Neither one works. Maybe it's ad protection settings? I do find that music helps my mood.
ReplyDeleteUpdate - I clicked on the link you put in the line above the "Relax" box picture. The link did work. I don't think the picture links to that website with the water and music.
ReplyDeleteBill, I think you may have solved the mystery. The graphic was just a screen shot I put in to give the post some color. I have edited it to include the website URL.
DeleteMy daughter puts on thunderstorm noise on the Alexa at night to sleep. This is nice.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing ~~ I am a big fan of these types of relaxation techniques!!
ReplyDeleteNo, what I want to relax is a seat on my screened porch on a warm day with the birds singing and the wind hushing in the branches. I don't think the computer would do it; but, hey, I will try anything once.
ReplyDeleteRight now our weather is chilly. A stiff wind is blowing, and the birds are hiding away :-(
DeleteYikes. I am slightly seasick. No, not my thing. But interesting. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteVery calming.
ReplyDeleteI clicked on the button also. Then I went back and read all the comments. This was an exciting post. Is that what you were shooting for?
ReplyDeleteAs it turns out, yes :-)
DeleteGreat program - very complicated to design; especially the water movement as the mouse is moved on the screen.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Someone definitely put a lot of work into the site.
DeleteI sometimes in harsh summer listen such calming voice dear Kathy because it’s rain rarely here and I miss rain
ReplyDeleteWe have YouTube Premium and I dunno if you like this stuff however, Calmed by Nature has some neat things. Sometimes I have the music on and other times just the video with no sound. Pups and cats always make it better!
