However, I had trouble coming up with a container small enough for one short digit.
After a thorough search in the kitchen and bathroom, I walked into the office and spied a prescription bottle left over from some cat medicine. It was just tall enough that my finger would fit, and narrow enough to only need a dash of Epsom salts and a couple of tablespoons of water.

Good idea!
ReplyDeletePerfecto! I hope it helped.
ReplyDeleteI hope so too. Just when I think everything is back to normal it changes....
DeleteNice fix!
ReplyDeleteNow that is downright clever. I save my meds bottles and set up my daily dose of all the stuff my doctor wants me to have in a line every evening for the next day. I also save the big ones, and tweezers, toothpicks, any small object, gets stored in a row of them in a drawer. I just hate the thought of all that plastic going to waste, and am dubious about the recycling rules for them.
ReplyDeleteYou've given me some good ideas for future bottles.
DeleteIt's worthwhile saving small containers as they often come in handy Like Mary G above, I hate throwing serviceable things away.
ReplyDeleteI hope your finger is feeling better.
Several months ago someone on the Buy Nothing group posted their vet clinic was looking for empty bottles to repurpose, but by the time I responded they had all they needed. I'm keeping my stash for the next time they post.
DeleteI hope your boo boo heals quickly.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteI think we need to see this boo-boo. 😁
ReplyDeleteI tried to take a photo of it soaking, but the result was pretty unpolitically correct :-)
DeleteResourceful. Hope you get some relief.
ReplyDeleteI have a stash of pill bottles that I use to store beads, and all sorts of tiny things pertaining to crafts and sewing.
