Every day for a year, starting on my 49th birthday, I did something I've never done before.
Now that I've completed that project, here's more of my adventures.

Is This A Positive Or A Negative?
Did you realize that today is the midpoint between January 1st and December
25th? Yep, it's Halfway to Christmas.
And as fast as time is flying the holiday season will be here before I know it.
I see it as a neutral marker of time a fun or sentimental point for some, and just another day for others. For many people, especially in Western countries, “Halfway to Christmas” is a playful reminder of how fast the year is passing and how close the holiday season is. It’s often used in marketing, planning, or just casual conversation.
I am Moslem and I am not celebrating it based on what I believe, but that’s totally okay.I respect in everyway
It may be inevitable but I am not ready! Still have too many birthdays... a NYS vacation.. a college graduation etc ahead!! Now if you could just figure out what to buy for the impossible ones.. I might be happier to think of Christmas
I really try to live in the moment & we're only in week 1 of summer. At my age I really don't want to rush the seasons. I have more behind me than in front.
It goes so fast. And it took awhile to get warm here so things feel behind and the new year, even faster approaching. Christmas in July sales popping up as well well as Summerween fun items at stores too.

Thank you for your comment.
DeleteYou know what? I thought the same thing today!
ReplyDeleteGreat minds think alike!
DeleteNo wonder the years pass so quickly.
ReplyDeleteAmen
DeleteI'm mid-confused - in two minds really about this.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
:-)
DeleteAnd the countdown begins!
ReplyDeleteIt does.....but after a couple of days I will forget about this milestone and be surprised again down the line.
DeleteNOOOOOOOoooooooo! Oh goodness, where has the year gone?
ReplyDeleteI know! Summer has just started!
DeleteWow! That is strange to think about! Thank you Kathy! Aloha
ReplyDeleteGreat news for our family since we'll have two more grandbabies by Christmas, if all goes well.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a real blessing.
DeleteA negative. I am not emotionally or financially ready for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteAnd now you have six months to get there :-)
DeletePositive. Soon enough the sun will be gone and cooler temperatures will be back. lol
ReplyDeleteYES!
DeleteIt’s neither positive or negative - it’s inevitable.
ReplyDeleteLife goes on....

ReplyDeleteI understand your challenge. I have the same one myself.

ReplyDeleteNow that was downright cruel, especially as today I found a bag of Christmas ornaments that I had not stored with the others.
ReplyDeleteI find there's always something that doesn't get put away properly.

ReplyDeleteSummerween is a new concept to me!
