For some reason my phone had a different idea of where I was standing.
Every day for a year, starting on my 49th birthday, I did something I've never done before. Now that I've completed that project, here's more of my adventures.

What Does My Phone Know That I Don't?
This weekend I will be attending an organization business meeting in the Lake
of the Ozarks area. I was trying to figure out what to pack, so I opened my
weather app in my condo in Kirkwood, MO to find out.
Interesting-Christine cmlk79.blogspot.com. I had a problem with the online Toronto Star one year after going in online in Calgary. My access was screwed up when I returned to Toronto. It was giving me Calgary news! It seemed to correct itself eventually.
ReplyDeleteThat is interesting. Are the two papers under the same ownership?
DeleteThis fellow blogger (also named Kathy) lives in the Ozarks area of Missouri, coincidentally. Don't know if you have seen her posts. -Christine cmlk79.blogspot.com

Thank you.
DeleteIt's telling you to ditch the continental USA and move permanently to Hawaii. And really, wouldn't that be great!?
ReplyDeleteIt would be lovely, except for the fact that it is no closer to the grandchildren. However, they would probably be more inclined to visit Hawaii than Missouri :-)
DeleteSounds like the phone wants you to go back. That is a hoot.
ReplyDeleteYou weren't in St. Robert MO. for real were you? Down there being a fun bunny for the soldiers at Fort Lenard Wood?
ReplyDeleteI have no idea how St. Robert got there! The only thing I've done is driven through it.
DeleteWhat Debra said.
ReplyDelete:-)
DeleteWow, you're in Hilo and don't even know it?
ReplyDeleteMaybe!
DeleteShould you get out to Yosemite any time soon, let me know and perhaps we can meet up.
ReplyDeleteI will, although it seems like our trips are always jam packed with family commitments.
DeleteThat really is amusing!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you visited I am in my mid 70's now and don't use a cell phone-really don't need one as we are pretty much stay at home people now I got to visit Yellowstone back in 2017 and loved it
ReplyDeleteYellowstone is definitely on my bucket list to visit.
Deleteawe how sweet of you to stay close to grandchildren :)
ReplyDeleteOf course!
DeleteIt's possible the weather app had old cached information, or maybe your phone was just reminiscing about Hawaii. Either way, it's a good reminder to double-check the settings and clear out any old data when needed.
