Five years ago: Waterless WC“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our attitudes.” ~~Charles R. Swindol~~
Every day for a year, starting on my 49th birthday, I did something I've never done before. Now that I've completed that project, here's more of my adventures.

You Are Your Attitude
The other day I was in a store, where I saw this quote hanging in the hall that led to both the bathrooms and the employee break room area. I took a photo so I could remember it, and I wondered if it was put there for the employees or the customers. I decided it was there for everyone.
Bring close to the employee area makes me think it is for them. Certainly doesn't for everyone to read it
ReplyDeleteI think Charles R. Swindol has an attitude. 😁
ReplyDeleteInteresting. Why?
DeleteI think you've mistaken me for someone who was being serious. 😄
DeleteYou made me go look up Charles Swindol. I could have sworn he had died. Nope. 87 years old and still going strong.
ReplyDeleteI don't read or listen to Evangelical pastors, so the name was new to me.
DeleteThe philosophy has usually worked for me, except when I have a less than stellar attitude.
ReplyDeleteA vicious circle.
