If Only I Could Be This Flexible

I came into the family room and saw Pepper the cat fast asleep, with his upper body hanging halfway off of the couch.


When I got close to him he woke up and gave me a look that said he did not appreciate his nap being disturbed.  Then he went back to sleep.

    Oh gosh, he is so cute.There's no telling what he's "dreaming up". If I got myself in that kind of position, I would be a miserable mess... cramping like crazy. Love the photo, it's a real smile-maker.

      If I WAS able to contort myself in this way, it would mean a sure trip to the chiropractor!

    Perfect photo! Love it! How they sleep the way they do, is amazing. Also they can get through very small holes, almost like an octopus.

    I do admire how cats are so flexible, mine is sleeping in a circle position in her bed right now.

      We've tried to get our cats to sleep in an 'official' bed. Never had any luck :-)
