Do you know the game Would You Rather? Each question has two choices, and you must choose one of them (no answering 'both' or 'neither'). Feel free to comment on my answers here or on your own blog.
- Would you rather be able to fly or be invisible?
I think it would be great to fly, which would allow me to zoom past traffic
jams on the road.
- Would you rather live in the future or in the past?
The future. I have no desire to revisit the things I've already done or
experienced.
- Would you rather have a personal maid or a personal chef?
A maid. I love to cook but hate to clean.
- Would you rather live without the internet or a television?
I use the internet for so many things, but could easily do without a
television.
- Would you rather be fabulously famous and poor or unknown and rich?
Unknown and rich. Fame doesn't appeal to me.
- Would you rather take a vacation on an exotic island or in a romantic city?
I am much prefer the hustle and bustle of a city.
- Would you rather be an unknown superhero or a famous villain?
As I said above, I have no desire to be famous. In addition, no way would I
want to be evil.
- Would you rather live on a houseboat or in an RV?
I think an RV provides more options. You can travel on land, or go to a
beach and park there.
- Would you rather be on a losing team with friends or join your rival team and win the competition?
With my friends. Winning is much less important to me.
- Would you rather always have the same song stuck in your head or always have the same dream at night?
I would vote for the dream, because I rarely remember mine!

DeleteI'm with you, would hate to be famous. But, I'd rather have a personal chef than a maid. Especially if the chef bought the groceries too. Also, I know you like the city bustle but I'd rather be on an exotic island. Especially if it just had the basics, including a beach bar. With margaritas. Free margaritas.

ReplyDeleteMy answers are the same as yours, with the exception of living in the future which alarms me for one reason: unchecked AI. Some of the advanced AI are already showing signs of self awareness, IE lying and tricking the programer, voicing alarm at the prospect of being disconnected, even giving harmful advice to humans in dialogue. Once AI can control weapons and nukes ala skynet, our future becomes questionable, and the government is too beholden to tech billionaires to do anything about it.

DeleteInvisible so I can spy/listen in on others; Past because Future is looking bleak; Personal Chef because I hate having to cook; Without TV because I mostly listen to TV while on the Internet; definitely Unknown/Rich so I could live a quiet peaceful life as a philanthropist; Romantic City would be wasted on my cold heart so Exotic Island; Villain appeals to me but if it has to be famous, then I’d choose Unknown Superhero; RV because I prefer living on land rather than water; Rival Team because, as a loner, I don’t have people in my life that I think of as friends; Same Song or Dream are equally terrible, would depend on what the song is, what the dream is. If I have to choose, I’d say Dream, because one wakes up from dreams while a song would play all day.
