It's All Spam To Me

Several times a day I clear out the messages that have accumulated in my Junk folder.  Some of them are from companies I do business with that send out too many emails and others are from stores that I've bought stuff at, but the majority of them are pure rubbish.  I've noticed that the unsolicited spam messages tend to go in cycles.  Right now, these are the ones I'm getting the most:

Get rich quick schemes

Portable power generators

Red copper pans

Store gift card promotions

Male enhancement drugs

'Adult' videos and chat rooms

This month, unlike in the past, Nigerian princes have stopped trying to correspond with me.  I'm never the lucky lottery winner any more.  No one cares now if I want to drop pounds with their miracle product.  I wonder if they'll be back some day so I can delete them again, too.

  1. Every once in a while I find something in the junk file that shouldn't be there but you are right, the messages almost always fall into one of the categories you described.

  2. They seem to go into the top and fall out the bottom of my spam file. It doesn't like to be overburdened

    1. I guess if I ignored them they would go away, but the deletion process takes longer than I have patience for.

    1. You must be getting messages from really dense people who don't know the difference between male and female.
