"Distractions", Indeed!

This afternoon I was supposed to be cleaning the kitchen, starting with the kitchen table.  However, when I picked up the newspaper to put it in the recycling bin the puzzle page (including this Wonderword puzzle) beckoned.  I decided the cleaning could wait.

  1. I'm OK looking over someone's shoulder to help with puzzles, but simply cannot sit down to do them on my own.

    1. I never did puzzles until I started taking them to pass time at the Customer Service desk. Now my puzzling is more sporadic.

  2. This is fun. Hope you finished the puzzle.

I get distracted very easily. In fact, that's how I got to this computer and checked your blog. I think I was on my way to do something. What was it???

    1. I DID finish. Then did some cleaning and went back for one of the crossword puzzles :-)

  3. I don't blame you for getting distracted by something much more fun than cleaning the kitchen. I love these kinds of puzzles.

    1. Other people in the family prefer the Soduku, but give me something with words any time!

  4. The very same thing happened to me when I broke down and cleaned my son's room. I came upon a similar puzzle that was supposed to be placed on the bottom of the rabbit's cage. Nope. I subbed in another piece of newspaper and slipped away to work on this gem.

    1. WHAT were you doing cleaning your son's room?!? Completing puzzles is much more satisfying.
